Ford is an American institution with a ton of history behind it worth exploring. With the new Ford Heritage Vault, an online exhibition of photographs and brochures from years past, you can easily navigate more than a century of automotive excellence.
This spring, Ford launched its Heritage Vault collection online. Including 5,000 photos and brochures spanning 1903 to 2003, it’s a veritable treasure trove for Ford fans. And because Ford just keeps making history, the Ford Heritage Vault will only continue to expand over time.
“We’re opening up in a way we’ve never done before,” said Ted Ryan, Ford archive and heritage brand manager. “Our archives were established 70 years ago, and for the first time, we’re opening the vault for the public to see. This is just a first step for all that will come in the future.”
Ford’s archives team took two years curating the collection to make sure it covered every key part of the brand’s history. And Ford makes sure that everyone can be a part of it, leveraging assistive technology so that visually impaired visitors can experience the Ford Heritage Vault as well.
