Ford came ready to play at this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas, serving up six custom Ford Bronco Sport SUVs. Each custom Bronco and Bronco Sport showed off just how adaptable the off-roaders are, making good use of a range of Genuine Ford Parts, Ford Licensed Accessories, and Ford Performance Parts.
Since the all-new Bronco two- and four-door and Bronco Sport launched, Ford has put together a catalog of more than 350 parts and accessories for the vehicles. The Bronco is particularly customizable thanks to its modular platform, which allows for perks like a class-exclusive removable frameless doors.
Among the customized Ford Bronco SUVs that bowed at the SEMA Show is a version built by BDS Suspensions. Based on a Bronco Black Diamond™ two-door, BDS Suspension added in a 4-inch UCA System with Fox 2.5 PES coilover shocks, adjustable rear control arms and track bar, and swaybar disconnect.
The 2021 Ford Bronco by BDS Suspensions envisions a fire truck perfect for crews helping to put out forest fires. But it also gives us a taste of what may come if Ford does ever decide to make a rugged truck based on the Bronco.
