Ford recently teamed up with Filson to turn an all-new Bronco SUV into a forest ranger’s dream come true. The super-cool Bronco + Filson Wildland Fire Rig concept takes a Bronco Badlands™ four-door with the Sasquatch™ Package, decks it out in a cool livery, and equips it with tons of accessories.
This Bronco concept boasts a recognizable Forest Service Green exterior with graphics including reverse Bronco lettering over the grille. As much go as show, the Bronco + Filson Wildland Fire Rig boasts tools and equipment crucial for forest rangers to do their jobs. This includes a WARN® Zeon® 10s winch on a Ford Performance modular steel bumper, a Kimtek® FIRELITE® Fire/Rescue Transport skid, Hannay Reels® fire hose reel, and a STIHL® chainsaw.
The Bronco + Filson Wildland Fire Rig also shows off just how customizable the all-new 2021 Ford Bronco is. When it arrives at Shults Ford this summer, the Bronco will be available with over 100 genuine and factory-supported accessories.
Ford and Filson are longtime partners, and this latest team-up also includes a collaboration to raise funds for the National Forest Foundation. Proceeds from sales of some cool Bronco + Filson gear will go toward NFF’s reforestation efforts.
“Ford and Filson share a unique history of helping protect our nation’s wildfire crews for more than a century and helping them access rugged areas of forests,” said Dave Rivers, Bronco marketing manager. “Today, we’re combining those strengths to support those who protect our natural resources as well as helping preserve our nation’s forests for future generations.”
