Ford Reveals All-Electric 2021 Mustang Mach-E

The performance-driven Ford Mustang is charging boldly into a new decade with an all-new, all-electric variant. The 2021 Mustang Mach-E SUV is the first new addition to the Mustang lineup in 55 years and boasts an EPA-estimated range of approximately 300 miles in addition to incredible performance capabilities that more than live up to the pony car’s legacy.

Drivers can opt for all-wheel or rear-wheel drive on the Mustang Mach-E as well as choose between two special performance models — the Mustang Mach-E GT and the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition. With the range-topping Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition, you can expect a 0-60 mph sprint in the mid-three-second range and an output of 459 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque. Who said electric vehicles couldn’t be fun?

“The Mustang Mach-E wholeheartedly rejects the notion that electric vehicles are only good at reducing gas consumption,” said Hau Thai-Tang, Ford’s chief product development and purchasing officer. “People want a car that’s thrilling to drive, that looks gorgeous and that can easily adapt to their lifestyle — and the Mustang Mach-E delivers all of this in unmatched style.”

The next-generation SYNC® 4 infotainment system in the Mustang Mach-E will deliver a user-friendly, uncomplicated engagement to users. It features a 15.5-inch screen that offers split-screen functionality and utilizes over-air-updates to stay up on the latest features.
